Marc:

My time at Scissett Middle has been life changing. I went from an average child to the Head Boy of the school. I have excelled in Maths, English and Reading - beating my own expectations. Scissett is an astounding school that brings students to the highest level they can. In my personal experience the Music and Drama departments are amazing, giving me the ability to act and play the drums and also to grow better. Again, an astounding school.

The reason I applied to be Head Boy was primarily because of my love of parliament and politics. I cannot wait to continue growing in this school and helping others to do the same. I hope the role continues in the school as it gives people a sense of importance and helps present the voice if the pupils. I hope to fulfil my role fully.

Lucy:

I'm delighted and incredibly honoured to be Head Girl this year. I have always loved being on the School Council, so representing our school as Head Girl is a huge privilege and I am thrilled. Outside of school I love to swim, spend time with my family and play the guitar and piano. I promise to try my best to listen, support and encourage everyone. I will also ensure that everyone's voice is heard and suggestions or concerns will be taken into account. Overall I think that Scissett Middle School is a truly outstanding school and I 'm sure this year will be fantastic.

Oscar:

I took on the role of Deputy Head Boy because I'm passionate about making a real difference. As Deputy Head Boy, I plan to focus on strengthening communications between students and staff and organising activities that bring our school community closer together. One of my main goals is to ensure that every pupil feels their voice is heard and valued. I believe everyone should have the chance to contribute ideas to make the school better in their own way. By fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, I hope to help create a place where everyone feels encouraged to be their best. This role will also help me grow as a leader while making a meaningful impact at Scissett Middle School.

Amalie:

I am honoured to be the Deputy Head Girl at Scissett Middle School. I feel very proud to have this role and look forward to the year ahead. I love being a student at Scissett Middle School. I have made lots of friends , progressed well in many subjects and enjoyed various clubs along the way such as Dance, Drama, Art, Music and Choir. It really is an excellent school with fabulous staff who clearly care about pupils. My time at Scissett has been a wonderful experience and I am very pleased to be able to carry this role forward for my last year here.
